Dyscalculia

I recently purchased an app for dyscalculia, and was astonished to find that it was simply addition and subtraction facts practice.

So, we have been working on those writing skills that seem to plague so many students these days. Today I want to add another step.

Do you have a child or student who isn’t doing well in math? Perhaps this child or student has been diagnosed with dysgraphia, dyslexia, or another learning difference.

As you are well aware, there are some Dyslexic students whose strength is maths, however there are those who find learning, time tables in particular, a chore.

Picture a boy in a classroom. He holds a pencil but he doesn’t know what to write. There are numbers on the page – sums!!! He doesn’t know what they mean but he knows that if he tries he’ll get crosses!!!
