They must name the animal in five seconds.<\/li>\n<li>The first player is to name an animal that starts with the letter a, such as aardvark.<\/li>\n<li>The next player is to name the animal that starts with the letter a (aardvark) and an animal that starts with the letter b, such a bat.<\/li>\n<li>The next player is to name the animal that starts with a, the animal that starts with b, and the name of an animal that starts with c, such as cat.<\/li>\n<li>Play continues like this until somebody cannot name an animal within five seconds.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>My Two Cents<\/p>\n<p>This game stretches the brain, and that\u2019s exactly what needs to be worked.\u00a0 Students with auditory processing problems can hear just fine.\u00a0 The problem is in the brain where the information is processed.\u00a0 Doing games like this won\u2019t cure an auditory processing problem, but it helps strengthen auditory memory, auditory synthesis, auditory closure, and auditory discrimination.\u00a0 Not a bad gig while having fun!\u00a0 This game is perfect for playing on the run.\u00a0 We played it by the hour on car trips or even on our way to school or sporting events.<\/p>\n<p>Happy animal names,<\/p>\n<p>Lisa<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019ve promised another fun game to help kids with auditory processing issues.
